Subsidy for new entrants
If you are interested in joining the League, you need to let us know as soon as possible.
The League currently has a few vacancies for next season. On that basis, provided that your club meets the necessary standards, it should have a good chance of being elected to the League.
The Management Committee has agreed a subsidised entrance package for any new teams entering the League for next season worth £75.
This includes new clubs and new teams of existing clubs currently in the League.Details will be provided to all new applicants.
If your club is already a member of another League and you are considering switching to this League, we are required to notify that League of your interest.
Your club may also be required to give formal notice to your existing League.
If your club is newly formed or you are thinking about setting up a club, further information and the various steps that need to be taken can be found on Norfolk F.A.’s website in the governance section here.
The model club constitution approved by the Football Association can be found in their booklet “Club Structures” on their website here.
Further information from the FA about setting up a club can be found by clicking here.
If you wish to pursue an application, you will need to complete an application form which should be returned as soon as possible. Your application will then be reported to the next meeting of the League’s Management Committee.
Assuming that the Committee wishes to consider your application further, your club will then be invited to attend an interview with the Committee. The Committee then decides which clubs it intends to recommend for admission to membership of the League and this recommendation is made to the Annual General Meeting.
If you would like an application form, contact the League Secretary (see Contact Us section) or email him at email@example.com.
He will then send you a form together with a copy of this year’s League Handbook which will give you some further background information about the League.
